I heard there may be a place to shoot shotguns at EE Wilson but I've never been out there. Has anyone else heard about this or been out there?

Yep a skeet shoot area on the west side of the road but not sure if it is open all the time to general public or what.

Went by yesterday and it is open to all but you have to use non toxic ammo.

* shotguns only -- no rifles, no handguns
* steel shot only -- no lead
* clay targets only
* bring your own clay thrower

Good I found this thread, just bought and old but good 20 gauge pump shotgun and want to try it. Sadly I bought lead shot, so now I know that I have to buy steel shot to go to EE Wilson trapshooting range.

Our club just ran 442 kids through an introduction to shotguns seminar there. The state provided the ammo for the event. 1500fps steel #7.5 shot. The guys said it nearly knocked down a few of the smaller kids. LOL
