Dungeness crab from ocean to table

It's easier than it looks. Crack the crab, sauté some mushrooms, chop some green onions, grate some Swiss cheese. Add it together, mix in some mayo, add salt pepper garlic, presto. Toast some English muffins about half way, top with the crab mix, bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Finish on broil if you like a little edge (I do).

I love crabbing, steaming, processing, the whole deal. It's fun for me, and I get a gourmet product that would cost high dollars in a restaurant. So I figure I'm big bucks ahead, not to mention the great time I had.



I love my little boat. Plus, I put a big ol' piece of chinook that had been swimming 10 hours prior in front of my wife for her dinner.



Try buying that!

I'm originally from the East Coast and I liked my blue crabs steamed in water, vinegar, and a little beer layered with Old Bay. I used to prepare them gumbo style.
