Well the answer to the question is that it can be done.

There is not enough width on the high spot of the rail to tap so I tapped the indent of the rail.

I ended up using the long stud from the UM 2500-0 kit. The shaft of the stud is just slightly smaller than the space between the rails. This allows the stud head to sit across 2 rail sections for support. It is unlikely it is needed, but I did put the nut on the backside of the stud just to give it that extra security. I did have to cut the stud shaft length down.

I chose this spot on the rail so that when the legs are folded they will not interfere with my can that is still in jail.

Glass should be here tomorrow and then find a warm enough day to go out and sight it in.

Looks great. Post up some groups when you get it out. Curious to see that Odin works barrels results.

Will do. Likely won't do anything that detailed until spring. I will try and sight it in on the large gongs we have hanging at our other property during Christmas break.

Everything I read online had good reviews especially considering the price. Comes with a "1 MOA" guarantee for what it is worth

Picatinny Mount for Bipod

As a gunsmith and engineer, If I really really really wanted to just put a stud through Picatinny rail. Which I would not recommend as there is not much material. I'd use this part, and the longer stud so that the little amount of contact you make passing through the picatinny rail section, in addition to having a threaded backer plate. Though, it is for keymod, this should still work for your application to a degree. Ditch the centering washer, at the bottom middle of the photo. Depending on the thickness of your rail you may be able to utilitze the shorter stud, the washer in the center is to help orientate the stud

Well the work is already done.

If for some reasons it does break, I may go to that kind of adapter or find a rail mount bipod. I had all of this laying around.
