It sounds like your lookin for the 1894cp as it already has the 16.25 inch barrel. it would save you from cutting the barrel down and having to move the front sight. they are more rare as i believe they were only made for 2 years or so, but they are a real nice compact packin gun.

That does sound great John, I'd love to come across one for a decent price! Honestly though I hardly ever even see the standard 1894C's.
