The sky is falling! The sky is falling! Send Money ASAP!'Intellectual' and 'positive' manner in which the NRA addresses their envelopes ?

Well, for some maybe but if they (The NRA) believes they have a 'captive audience' with this type of 'fearmongering' well, then count me out of that 'club'....I guess they know that fear bait works.
Well its not like the Democrats wouldnt confiscate our guns if they were allowed to pass such a law....Well, for some maybe but if they (The NRA) believes they have a 'captive audience' with this type of 'fearmongering' well, then count me out of that 'club'....
Well, I didn't see any 'law' referenced on the envelope, and I don't know of any such 'confiscation' law currently 'in the making' HOWEVER I firmly believe we (or a lot of use anyway) will NEVER experience ANY ACTUAL 'Confiscation' EVER taking place.Well its not like the Democrats wouldnt confiscate our guns if they were allowed to pass such a law....
Well we get what we vote for then because last year Washington just banned all AR15s joining a handful of states. And it wasn't the Republicans that passed that law thru.Well, I didn't see any 'law' referenced on the envelope, and I don't know of any such 'confiscation' law currently 'in the making' HOWEVER I firmly believe we (or a lot of use anyway) will NEVER experience ANY ACTUAL 'Confiscation' EVER taking place.
I obviously cannot speak about the long term future but confiscation (at any level) would be a catastrophic and insurmountable nightmare.
And what 'democrats' are you referring to who would 'confiscate' our guns? Would the 'gendarme' ask for 'volunteers' to go 'door to door' to ask people to turn in guns? This would work out as well as that idiotic suggestion a couple years ago about sending the 'unicorn' libs jumping over the moon to respond to domestic disputes, crimes in progress to hopefully 'dispel' the perp into laying down their weapons, letting hostages go, stop beating on people as an alternative to law enforcement intervention ? - yea right.
Hey, your 'preaching to the choir' !Well we get what we vote for.
Ok then were on the same page.Hey, your 'preaching to the choir' !
How often have you read my posts about KNOWING (or only acquaintances) of neck bearded mouth breathers who claim to be SO conservative, 2A supportive yet sound so PROUD of how they DON'T vote because of 'this and that' - and most if it is because they are essentially ignorant of whats really going on.
I have spoken to THREE people this week I know who are staunch conservatives yet admit to NOT liking Trump (or anybody else who was running) and simply DIDN'T vote for anyone.
The party in power will just farm confiscation out to one or more NGO's that will kick back 10% to the then-current "Big Guy" and a like amount to their Congresspersons. Then, 80% of the remainder to pay "administrative overhead" and what's left pays idiot "true believer" fools to actually show up at your door to goad you into doing something that gives the real police a reason to arrest you and take your guns and ammunition.Well, I didn't see any 'law' referenced on the envelope, and I don't know of any such 'confiscation' law currently 'in the making' HOWEVER I firmly believe we (or a lot of use anyway) will NEVER experience ANY ACTUAL 'Confiscation' EVER taking place.

Have you forgotten hurricane Katrina? National guard and local LEOs went door-to-door "confiscating" guns.Well, I didn't see any 'law' referenced on the envelope, and I don't know of any such 'confiscation' law currently 'in the making' HOWEVER I firmly believe we (or a lot of use anyway) will NEVER experience ANY ACTUAL 'Confiscation' EVER taking place.

That is my I did not renew my membership. 20some years ago.Well, for some maybe but if they (The NRA) believes they have a 'captive audience' with this type of 'fearmongering' well, then count me out of that 'club'....
No, I haven't forgotten about Hurricane Katrina' but what do remember about it was the confiscation was very limited in scope, disorganized and largely in part a staged chit show.Have you forgotten hurricane Katrina?
The problem is the rhetoric the NRA is using on the envelope isnt a current situation. They mail that out to millions of supporters then in turn many of those argue that point which isnt the current situation making gun rights supporters look badly informed. Its not a good look on NRAs part, they can do better and argue a much more intelligent position than confiscation.Have you forgotten hurricane Katrina? National guard and local LEOs went door-to-door "confiscating" guns.
