Any advice on replacing a disconnector spring on a Mossi .353?
Anyone tried this?
I picked this up several years ago, found a vintage period correct Mossberg scope new in the box for it on e-bay, had it bore-sighted at Bi-Mart. Took it to the range, it failed to cycle after the first shot and part of the disconnector spring dropped out of the rifle so I got a new at numrich. My experience with taking apart old semi-auto .22 rifles without detailed instructions is that small springs under pressure shoot off the table and disappear forever from these old eyes.
Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith in the PDX area that can do minor repairs/parts replacement for a reasonable price?
