5 lbs sodium hydroxide and 2.5 lbs sodium nitrate to gallon of water. Adjust NaOH to get boiling temp to 285.

Curious - how did you seal the bore?

When Im doing Parkerizing I seal the bore with silicone plugs. when bluing there is no need. The bore blues the same as the outside. I do polish the chamber when Im dont but the magnetite coating enhances the bore if nothing else.
