This guy has brought more people into the 2a community than you could imagine. Sad to see him go, he was a positive role model for gun rights. I don't watch much youtube these days, but I enjoyed watching his videos in the past.

I used to watch it and his other ranch channel back in the day but tired of the contrived skits for clicks/ $. I figured he had plenty of money ten years ago.

If they were informative and not full of clickbait and or made up BS drama / over the top dramatics , then it is too bad he is going away.
If he was more along the lines of a lot of other you tube channels...then ...oh well.

Don't hate the youtubers. It's their followers that make them big. They are the ones feeding the beast. There are some that had good content that got chased away with YT policy changes. I don't recall her name, but there was one young lady i used to watch that gave zero f**** and I didn't find much of her ideas wrong. Think a more pleasant and funny Candace Owens.

I've watched a few of his videos over the years. They're generally not my cup of tea but some of them were entertaining. If you look past the teenage boy goofiness, he seems like a good guy. I can't blame someone for taking time off to spend with family, especially if they can afford it. More power to him.

Out of curiosity I googled "demolition ranch divorce" and from the 30 seconds I spent glancing at results, it looks like that's a completely unsubstantiated rumor. That and the fact that he says he and his wife want to focus on family time before their kids are grown up and gone.

I don't know the guy personally and don't get caught up in the drama of celebrities, nor will I miss the channel because it's not my thing, but videos like his do appeal to a lot of people and he did seem to make a generally positive impact.

Agreed. He lost his charm when he started buying new ridiculous stuff every other video. Became really unrelatable so I stopped watching.

However....
It is your channel...not your followers channel....your channel should reflect your thoughts and not have to cater to likes or followers.

Which of course will not generate views , clicks or likes....so nope , no channel for me...and no watching of others and their channel.
