I picked up a couple of these, for my stock SIG 365, one to wear on the Condor 2" 'tactical belt' that I wear with my ripstop work pants, one to wear on a smaller belt I wear with jeans that I wear when I go into town.

Nothing fancy but they were on sale for $17 and I didn't have any holsters for my 365 so I thought I would try one out. It worked the way I wanted, so I ordered a second one.

These are ostensibly for strong hand draw, but I wanted it for a cross draw holster, and it worked. I think they could work OWB, even though they are IWB. I put inside my belt, but not inside my pants waist band (I don't like anything IWB. Between the belt and pants is very snug and secure. With the way I wear most shirts (not tucked in) the shirt covers the gun & holster and there is very little if any printing - the main thing that prints is the butt of the grip and slide, but for a thicker shirt that wouldn't print at all.

The holster has a screw to tighten to grip the gun - nothing else to secure it. I would prefer a strap or something more secure, but this is what you get for less than $20. I tightened it down such that the gun will not fall out when the holster is upside down, even when I shake it up and down.

The belt loop can be set to cant the holster, which is what I did; I set it to cant forward for a crossdraw on my left side - positioned above and a little behind (enough so I can get to my phone which I carry in my left pocket) my front pocket. IMO a crossdraw is less obvious than a strong side draw or an appendix carry, and IMO certainly safer than the latter.

The belt latch (more of a latch than a loop) can be attached to either side of the holster and at any angle. It barely works for my tactical 2" belt which is very thick and stiff - but that is fine, except it takes time and effort to put on the belt.

I have one of those for my Glock 19X. I was wondering where my son had got it. He said it was less than 20 bucks at the time.

I'd advise anyone to not go cheap on a holster as a general rule. I guess if you never ever carry or train with one in the tube, maybe. I like my legs and balls the way they are

Thanks for the heads up.

I don't do cheap holsters when it comes to self defense and concealed carry.

But that's just me.
Idk, Kydex has gotten to be massively cheap to fabricate in bulk so for a cheap holster you don't use much or as you said, to try it out. I can see getting a cheap holster.

As long as it stays put, retains the firearm and covers the trigger guard AND is comfortable then I don't really see price as an issue.

Yes you can get much better ones but I bought a paddle Kydex for my summer gun awhile ago for about $20 and it is comfortable and easy to clip on so when I go for a 15 min run for a couple of things at the supermarket I don't leave it at home and hope my knives will be enough should something crazy happen.

Unfortunately, Amazon for some reason that I am unaware of will not ship anything that is IWB or a pack that has a concealed pocket for a pistol to WA anymore. I hate the laws in this state. To bad I am firmly rooted here.

Just my 2 penny's - so that's like 6¢ now I guess :D

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I've had cheap and expensive and I can tell a difference. I'm now to the point though that I have one holster I can run my all my carry guns in. I use the same holster in jeans as I do in running shorts. With that said I've spent plenty of money on cheap and expensive holsters to figure out what works for me.

Thanks for the heads up.

So far every time I see this its due to the holster being sold by a 3d party on Amazon. Several times when I looked at one that would not ship to WA if I found the same thing Prime it was no problem. Some lawyers must have gotten spooked and be telling some not to ship here but if its direct from Amazon none seem to be a problem.

That's great to know.

I haven't been buying much but figured worse case I could send it to one of the lockers or drop point businesses across the bridge for things like holsters where I'm not breaking any laws.

IMO - this holster meets those requirements, and that is all I require of it - but it is also much more concealable (at least the way I use it).

FWIW - I have a lot of other holsters (non yet for the 365)

E.G., I have some ok (and much more expensive, even though I bought them used) Safariland ALS/SLS "duty" holsters for my larger SIGs (226, 227, etc.). They do have more positive retention mechanisms, but interestingly don't fit the gun they are made for as snugly (it does hold it against falling out or an opponent trying to remove it, but the gun does move around inside it).

Also, I have some of the SIG brand holsters - which are about the same cost, which I don't think are as good as this particular holster, and certainly are not as versatile.

To each their own.
