My range time was cut short today after I had a case head separation in my M92. I've never had this happen in a center fire gun before, but I'd thought I'd try and tackle it the same way I would with a .22lr.
Disassembly on the 92 is not too bad, but I do it so infrequently that YouTube is always a savior. Once the bolt was out, I used a 12ga brush to grab the case out from the chamber end. Luckily it didn't need any kroil to coerce the offending brass.
While the chamber isn't as smooth as I'd like (typical Rossi quality), there wasn't any rust or corrosion which was a relief.
It was bound to happen sooner or later. This case has been reloaded 10-15 times.
