I checked lots of 1911 reviews in 2006 and bought a Dan Wesson Pointman 7 Stainless in .45; actually a matched pair with custom and sequenced serial numbers (don't think they do that anymore though). A steal then for the quality and accuracy. Your newer model is even a better quality piece and the price is a genuine bargain. Wish I could afford it today. Great relatively undiscovered firearms company then and even with the CZ purchase it remains a very hi-end production gun maker.
