I picked up a "sporterized" VZ 24 recently. The rear sight had been removed, a Williams peep sight had been welded to the bolt stop, (yeah that's a brilliant idea) and the stock had been cut down to the first barrel band. So I did some shopping around and came up with enough parts to take it back to an original configuration. It's old and rough looking, just the way a 70+ year old battle rifle should look.
