Is that nickel?
It does shoot great. I imagine it will conceal pretty easily as well, despite being a full size pistol. Lighter than my 1911s and about the same width as my Glock 43.I bought my one and only CZ (75BD) purley on a 'whim' with zero experience on them and and became 'convert' as well.
I was so uninformed I did not realize for a while (until someone saw a picture of mine) it was revealed to in fact BE a 75 BD as opposed to an 85B as it is marked !
I held a 97 a couple years ago and if I were thinking of a .45 ACP, and maybe 'on the fence' as to a particular model or style of a full size, all steel one I would seriously consider the CZ 97. Felt great, balanced well and I am sure shoots great!
I do want one. Especially if I can find a decocker model.
Factory Polished StainlessIs that nickel?
Polish stainless
I want some wooden grips for mine. The only complaint I have is the aluminum grips.Never met a bad CZ.
97 is a great gun, big, but very pleasant to shoot- Mine says "hi"

Welcome to the forum and YES you may have gotten a rare CZ 'lemon' as they are typically above par when it comes to operation and quite frankly yours is the first I have ever heard of with this many issues.until I bought a 75, and it was the literally the most unreliable garbage gun I'd ever owned.
I think you did.Hmmmm, just out of curiosity, what was it about the 97 that captivated you? I used to think CZs looked like incredible guns, until I bought a 75, and it was the literally the most unreliable garbage gun I'd ever owned. I put about 200 rounds through it, and after 12 failure to eject/stovepipe issues, I just gave up and sold it.
I know a couple of the YouTube channels rave about them, but that just wasn't my experience at all. Maybe I got a lemon? Idk, but the ejection port is objectively very small.
