The CZ 452 Varmint has been in the safe for a bit and finally got to come out and play. The scope is a Browning badged Bushnell Elite 5-15. The groups were shot at 15x.
My first groups at 25 yards were looking like one hole groups. Boring. So I moved it back to 50 so I could see the difference in ammo. My CZ clearly likes Blazer and it shoots up there with or better than Wolf and SK. The Remington Target ammo was the worst. The Federal Automatch does ok. All ammo was 40 grain but notice the lower point of impact with the slower Wolf. Did have some cross wind from the right with some gusts. All groups are 5 shots.
Any other CZ .22 shooters out there ? I would like to see it if you have pics.
25 yard groups above 50 yard groups below.
Federal AutoMatch 50y
I do like my CZ .22s. The 452 American is lighter and shoots nearly as well as the Varmint. And it gets used for small game hunting more. But wont part with either.
Group therapy on a sunny Memorial day.
