For sale is this 7mm SAUM built on a Gunwerks action. It has a 24" Proof Research 1:8 sendero lite barrel fitted with a Salmon River Solutions 2 port brake. Barreled action was bedded into a JCS Composites carbon fiber stock. These stocks are super nice and come in around 24-26oz. M5 bottom metal cut with Unknown Munitions bottom metal and their XL short action magazine which allows a 3.150 oal. Action was machined to accept this magazine setup and I tested this rifle shooting 175gr Berger's with an oal of 3.065. It holds 3 rounds down and feeds them nicely out of their magazine. Trigger is a Trigger Tech Special set at 1-1/2 lbs.
Rifle was broke in and then tested with 175gr Berger's. Threw a quick load together after a powder ladder and shot goups in the 1/2 moa range with the 175's going 2950-2975 fps. I took it out and tested it at distance and had no problem hitting the gongs from 500 out to 900 yards.
This rifle is super handy to carry and the bare rifle weighs 6lb 12oz. It will come with one box of ADG brass that was used for break in and testing. I also have a few boxes of the 175gr Berger's if the buyer wanted to purchase them with the rifle. $3700 for the bare rifle without the scope and rings pictured. Shipping will be on the buyer and will be shipped in a hard case with insurance to buyers FFL.
