Hankins Custom Rifles (www.hankinscustomrifles.com) built this rifle for me. I received the rifle in August 2015 and I have decided to sell it because my interests have changed. Jeff at Hankins rifles (builder) claims it will easily shoot 1/2 MOA or better at 100 yards. Specs are below:
Action: Remington 700 short action, blueprinted, tactical bolt knob
Recoil Lug: Holland Precision ground
Barrel: Krieger barrel #18 light varmint 26 in. 1-8 twist with threaded barrel 5/8-24, pillar bed and free floated, muzzle brake and thread protector.
Stock: Manners MCS-T5 3 studs, 1 inch pad, color is desert sage camo
Trigger: Remington trigger set at 3.5 lbs
Bottom metal: PT&G with 5 round mag (AI mags) and an additional two more 5 round magazines
Scope base: 20 MOA picainny rail
Creakote: all metal (rail, muzzle brake, thread protector, magazines, action in coyote tan.
Seating depth built to shoot both standard bullets and burger VLD's.
