How about a 44 black powder revolver with 45 LC conversion cylinder? That's got em both covered. Have a 1958 Remington around somewhere like that. The 1860s etc also you can buy conversion cylinders. Mine has 850 fps limit on ammo.

That's what I'm talking about those are some nice pistols
Thank you....:D

The Colt 1860 Army is my favorite percussion revolver.
Love its lines and balance.

Something to consider here in regards to the Colt Single Action Army and its use in the 'Old West"...

Movies and novels seem to have damn near every hero and villain armed with a Colt Single Action Army.
However...
The first shipments went to the Army. It wasn't till about 1876 that civilian sales really took off.
Many percussion revolvers were used well into the 1880s.

Also in regards to modern conversion units for percussion revolvers...
You are using a percussion revolver...it was not designed for metallic cartridge use
Loadings will be limited , which can be problematic to find on a store shelf at times.
As neat / useful as it sounds ....I have found that conversion units for Colt and Remington revolvers to be more trouble than they are worth.
I would suggest that if you want a cartridge revolver....buy a cartridge revolver.

Wow, I didn't know that I could get such a cool piece of history for the price of an upper-mid tier AR.
