For sale is a beautiful 2.5"Blued Colt Python.
It was made in 1977 (SN 631xxE) and I believe it to be unfired outside of factory. Since I am not the original owner, I will not make the absolute claim of "Unfired", but it was purchased from a dealer in 2002 who claimed it was unfired and I know that it has not been fired since then. Lock up is truly "Bank Vault Tight".
There is also a slight turn ring on the cylinder and a faint scratch on the frame, right above the Colt horse head logo. No box or paperwork.
This Python has been in my family since 2002, and it has been a true safe queen.
If you are serious about buying, I would be happy to meet so you can inspect it for yourself. There's a bit of lint and a lot of glare in the cell photos.
I prefer face to face transaction (at FFL) due to the value of the firearm. I'm willing to travel as far as Eugene and Tacoma. I'm also in Central Oregon periodically. If you are farther than that, please contact me to discuss options.
Since there are very few 2.5" Pythons on the market I am asking $2600.
