I have for sale or trade a Colt M1911 .45, approximate age: 1918 (based upon my research and help from others on this forum). This was owned by a WWII paratrooper (friend of mines dad) and purchased upon retirement. The gun was refurbished and re-parkerized after he left the service.
The serial number was re-stamped, uncertain if done during refurbishing by the military.
