Colt 1903, 1944 Production Model M .32 ACP pistol with phosphate (parkerized) finish. $1275 OBO
This is an mint example of a World War II U.S. Contract Colt Model 1903 Hammerless pistol with the original Colt parkerized finish, checkered walnut stocks with inlaid nickel silver Colt medallions. The right side of the frame is roll-stamped with the "U.S. PROPERTY" marking. The left rear side of the frame is stamped with a partial small crossed cannon final Ordnance inspection proof. The right side of the slide is roll-stamped in two line: "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS". The left side of the slide is roll-stamped in two lines: "COLT'S PT. F.A.MFG.CO. HARTFORD CT.U.S.A./PATENTED APR. 20.1897. DEC. 22, 1903" with the large Rampant Colt trademark roll-stamped behind the grip serrations. The slide is fitted with the late style front and rear sight. The serial number is stamped on the left side of the frame and the Colt "VP/Triangle" proof mark is stamped on the left side of the trigger guard bow with the Colt inspector mark on the right side. The magazine floor plate is roll-stamped: "CAL.32/COLT". This pistol is complete with a cardboard shipping box, one original all blued Colt magazine, cleaning rod and Colt disassembly instructions.
