Rookie Card vs Rookie Year is different for any player drafted in the NBA from 82-86 era.

That's an opinion that I have that some people don't share and I get that.

Feel free to research.

A good example that proves this point is the Michael Jordan card from this same set. He was drafted in 84, but the 86-87 Fleer is considered his rookie. Good enough for MJ, good enough for the rest. Lol

Can't forget about Karl Malone, Ewing, and my personal favorite Barkley. None of those players were rookies in 86, but the 86-87 fleer is their most recognized rookies.
