    It comes in a Black box.

    Paint anything Matte black and it becomes tactical, even shorts.

    Dont forget it also has an eagle. So it's tactical with a hint of patriotism. It's actually decent ammo but the brass is always dirty for some reason. Doesn't burn dirty but the ammo is just dirty out of the box

    Yep, it definitely isn't as shiny as some other stuff out there. For the price, I could care less about gleaming brass.

    Well it's not just the shiny brass but particals of dust or powder on the actual casing. Great price though. This will do until the remington stuff goes on sale for $5.99/box. If you can the PMC stuff it's usually $6/box as well.

    I must have gotten a good box. I didn't see any powder or dust particals on any of it when I was loading my mags.

    It's 5.56 not .223 and the XM193 is loaded to the higher pressure standard.
    Although I'm still not sure why that makes it tactical?

    $29.95/100 at Bimart. Best online price I saw was $70/200. Plus paying shipping. I love Bimart for Ammo.

    I just got four boxes yesterday... getting four more today... its stamped LC-11, That's Lake City ammo produced in '11 (I believe).

    A person needs to be sure that their firearm can safely shoot the 5.56mm stuff. It isn't compatible with barrels marked .223.
