Hey all for everyone that celebrates Christmas what awesome stuff did Santa bring ya? Santa brought me a geissele ssp! I'm pretty stoked, Santa brought the wife a Henry pump action .22, she said she wanted one while pretending to pump her ar15 last week haha. Anyway merry early Christmas and happy new year to all!

This was an early and very surprising Christmas gift.
Two weeks ago I stopped in at my favorite gun shop....
The owner told me about some guns the shop bought.
He mentioned that one of them was a Northwest Trade Gun replica.

I said that I would like to see it / maybe be interested in it ...both for shooting and for use in my museum / displays....
The owner brought it out...saying it is a bit rough.
And it was....very rusty with both old and active rust...and a grimy wood stock...along with much neglect.

Now that said...
I love cleaning up and restoring old guns...the owner knows this...and I have done so for the shop before...
So that is what happened here....
A removal of rust ...saving the patina....a tune up of the lock....a cleaning of the wood stock...etc....

I bring it back to the shop last Friday...the owner was very happy with the results...
And said to me :
"Merry Christmas".... :D

Totally did not expect that...and am looking forward to shooting it , hunting with it...and putting it on display.

Santa arrived a bit early for me. I picked up a Marlin 30-30 from my FFL on Monday night, the 22nd. A dealer in Iowa shipped it on the 9th and it took its time in transit. Nice early Christmas present! Looking forward to getting it out to the range.

Only gun I've ever gotten for Christmas was a Beretta 92fs Inox my wife got some help from a couple friends to help acquire and navigate the process…. @LuckySG was fantastic and as always went the extra mile.

My wife has a really hard time keeping anything secret from me so I was pretty speechless when she gave it to me as it caught me completely off guard.

One of my favorite guns and a wonderful Christmas memory for me.

Doing the simple and less expensive thing this year but still enjoy the holiday and the down time with family.

I haven't opened it yet but I know what is in the box; my wife got me another seekins Havak element in 6.5prc to go along with my 7prc element. I guess the FN PS90 I bought my self recently could count as well but that was technically for my birthday a week ago

Got myself a nice P229 in 9mm for $530! Might have to get a P30L V3 Non MS with rear decocker for my last pistol of the year!

Taking a Springfield Armory "Ronan" 1911.45 ACP to our oldest son in Alaska.

Nobody has ever gifted me a firearm. So I make up for it over the year!

Merry Christmas to all!

I got my wife a Smith and Wesson model 60 LS in .357 Magnum. I gave it to her a week ago so she could play with it a bit. There is no way for us to sneak anything past each other.

I've been blessed with more than a few firearms for Christmas gifts over the years from my Dad. Some great ones and wonderful memories!

My wife really surprised me 9 years ago. I really wanted a Marlin 1894 Cowboy in 38/357. She noticed that I was searching online for one, showed some interest, and discretely asked me some questions. She is not really interested in guns.

Come Christmas morning, after we opened all the other presents, she dug out a long, slender wrapped box from behind the tree and handed it to me. I was shocked when I opened it…..she tracked down the rifle I was after from a seller on GunBroker, had it shipped to a local FFL, and surprised me! Since known as "the Christmas rifle". I really enjoy shooting it!

For Christmas we rent a cabin at the mountain and pay for lift tickets. Magically, all the kids and grandkids show up. I bought myself 60 rounds of Federal 12 ga FlightControl in early December. Have the money set aside for a 12ga semi-auto and another .357 revolver in the new year. For now it is gifts for the grandkids [13-19] - stuff they actually need. Adults are just glad to get together once more.

I ordered me a surplus Italian police beretta 84. It won't be here for a bit though as my dealer is over the mountain uand through the woods and I won't go if it's bad weather. I did get some magazines for it and they're just like real pistol magazines, only smaller! They're so cute!!

I need to track down a 81 for the same reason!

I ordered a King Cobra at Adaptive on Monday, should be here Tuesday or Wednesday next week. saved $100 over Bass Pro price and there is a $100 rebate

Wasnt planning on making any more gun purchases this year, but then this Mauser C96 Broomhandle magically appeared at a gun store, RIGHT as I was being handed cash from another forum member I was selling a p365 to.

It was a Christmas Miracle . . .
