Up for sale is a Chinese Type 53 copy of the Mosin M44 in 7.62x54r. This rifle has been there done that. No numbers match. The stock has many dings but is solid. The bore shows wear and shows some pitting but also some shine. The bluing is gone. Not a refurbish gem but has character. It also has one of the best Mosin triggers I have ever fired.
