Check the head space on it especially if it's one of the early model ones built by century arms. The later model c308 were built by ptr they are good to go. Century arms on the first one ground on the back of some of the bolts to give it false head space

Personally I wouldn't touch a CAI "in-house built" gun.
CAI imported tons of whole weapons, like their various AK47s, WASR10s,Yugo PAP's, even FALs, etc.
.....but then they also built some in house from cobbled worn out $79. parts kits, many carried the "sporter" designation - which they used across multiple platforms. These were manufactured from a mix of domestic & mil-surp parts, normally with less than the desired results, shoddy workmanship, with even dangerous short cuts made at times.
Worse yet are those totally made by them, like their "Made in the USA AK line" the C47 / RAS, etc.. Total garbage.
So - It all depends on who did the actual building (it will be stamped on the receiver).
Also know that many of the CETME parts are not interchangeable with G3 / HK91, least individually. They are specific to the Spanish version. Things like trigger packs would have to be swapped out as a whole, and other parts wont interchange at all.
