Hey all,

I'm looking for a sling bag that is big enough to fit an iPad Pro and my ccw.

I work In an office and don't like concealing it on my body while I'm at work.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

TIA!!

You didn't mention which firearm, but here is an option. Basic black, and it would probably blend into an office environment.

5:11 select carry. I removed the fanny pack portion on mine and use just as a sling bag. Laptop shown in the back compartment doesn't quite fit so iPad Pro will fit fine. Deployment is almost as fast as drawing from holster.

Velcro pull tab shown in bottom left:
You can pull around to chest with left hand and fully open with a single pull of the Velcro tab. This guy in video is doing it slow but can be down very fast. Discontinued so have to buy in eBay now.

It'll mostly be my Glock 43, and or my 19.

Having it not look too tactical is a plus.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Look at places like Amazon and you will find pages of them. "Quality" is easy enough to judge.
Now as for how "wise" this is? Only you can decide. If you are putting the pack down and not watching it every second? You are of course leaving yourself wide open for problems. If someone takes it and uses that gun? You will need a lawyer. Only you can decide what works for you.

I am very aware of this possibility and thank you for mentioning it. I have a locking cabinet that only I have the key for and none of my co workers have the slightest idea that I carry a firearm.

VERY wise. I carried at work all my life. Many places it was NOT allowed. I always figured the only way anyone was going to find out is if I needed to defend my life. If that were to happen? I would be alive to go find a new job. Since those kind of packs are SOOO common now no one is bound to give it a second glance or suspect its a gun. So as long as its secured when you don't have it? Great idea.

You should be real happy with them. Place I work went to 5.11 gear several years ago. I had been buying my own stuff from them long before that because it was nice. Their stuff is not "cheap" but, it seems to be very hard to wear out.
Can't beat it for $120! Plus they gave me a free cooler and patch with a purchase of $150 or more.

I ended up getting the 5.11 sling bag!

Good job getting a non tactical looking bag. It's important imo. Does it have single pull access to the gun? If so that also very important. If it's like the old version you can grab the pull and swing bag to the front and open it in a single pull. It's not much slower than drawing from a holster after you practice it.

I have the smaller version of this bag...which says it will hold a 13 laptop so an iPad should fit. But it's more of a streamlined bag...I think.

I wanted to look as non tactical as possible and you can tuck the 5.11 tags away so you don't see any branding. It also has quick access pull tabs so you have quick access to the gun. I'm going to do some drills to get more comfortable with it.
