It is possible being a sister company with the same owner that Federal could take the CCI cases and load powder and bullet from Federal to help demand with the Blazer line ........ It would be a hybrid of course but possible .

PS: Happens all the time with aftermarket car parts being the same part just put in different retailers boxes .

I believe that CCI bought Federal several years ago.
I still have 6000 rounds of 22lr Blazer from CCI Lewiston out of 15000 rounds I bought 4 years ago, so I may be out of date if things have changed.
I now mostly use CCI Standard Velocity for under 100 yards so my Blazer consumption is way down.
Yeah I use standard velocity exclusively, but if I saw a good deal on the Blazer I would pick some up just to try it again. It may just be standard that was out of some tolerance.

And it wasn't to call out anyone above for being incorrect. I was just confused how someone, and this was in 'my' mind, was opening a Blazer box and could tell that it was Federal. I'm a brand name guy. I buy CCI products because there's this expectation in my mind relative to the brands consistant performance of its products. I was thinking along the lines of that whole Geissele magazine debacle that took place a few years ago.
