My son is in North Carolina and has a Toyota pickup for sale. He met a couple of guys, and one of them distracted him while the other put some oil in the coolant reservoir. The guy then offered my son considerably less for the truck. My son called BS on them and sent them packing. My son had a friend with him as a safety measure and was armed. He told me that this was a common scam. Be careful out there. I remember a friend from Bend who went to Seattle to buy a Honda Civic with extremely low miles. He met the seller in a parking lot and drove about 10 miles before the transmission died.
