Are not necessarily to be believed. We are now hearing from our news media that the virus has peaked in China. I looked at a graph online, showed a flattening of the curve in China. Only. But I am reluctant to take it at face value. The government in China, for political reasons, has been less than forthright about what's going on with the virus in their country.
What I'm saying here is we shouldn't necessarily be encouraged by news from China that the virus has peaked there. Because that information may be doctored up by their government. We can hope for the best but not necessarily because of news out of China. If other similar outbreaks offer valid comparisons, the virus should burn itself out rather than wiping out mankind. And likely sooner than later. Like the Spanish Flu epidemic in 1918. Which took the better part of a year. Hopefully, this will be shorter.
