Thank you. Coincidentally, my first car was a fifties something junker Mercury, $75.00!This has value for sure . Recent ones sold for 750-1250 + . Like anything it's value is what a seller and buyer eventually agree the sale price should be based on market conditions . The firearm market is soft at the moment but items that are collectable and not seen that often will sell . Blessings .
Yes they are and were only made for about 10 years from the late 70's to mid 80's IIRC.These are sought after rifles.
Yes, in reading, it appears the .357 is in higher demand.Yes they are and were only made for about 10 years from the late 70's to mid 80's IIRC.
I passed on one (a .357) locally in Central Oregon MANY years ago and wish I hadn't ! I only saw ONE after that at a gun show.
I did however previously have it's 'little brother' a Browning BL .22 and like a dummy later traded it off for something else (another bad decision...)
Thanks for the reply. GunBroker is a good reminder, thanks. These are sought after rifles. Likely some collector interest depending on condition. Handgun caliber lever actions have been a popular item in recent years for shooters in addition to collectors. They show up for sale here on the forum occasionally. Checking GunBroker for any recent closed auctions resulting in a sale would give some indicator of potential value. 64Mercurys value suggestions appear reasonable with condition and location being key variables.
Trapper is a good looking gun. Thanks.I bought a ANIB Winchester/Miroku '92 Trapper Takedown with octagon barrel for $1200 (IIRC).
Basically the same as a Browning '92
I think that was 3+ years ago?
