NO LONGER AVAILABLE I started a project some years ago to put together an early Belgian Browning 22 short Automatic Rifle. I've since bought one and I'm no longer interested in completing the project.
These guns are one of the best 22 automatics ever made and do not come cheaply if you can even find one. If you are willing to do a little assembling this could be a very nice rifle for you or a son/daughter. If you've never hunted running jacks with a Browning 22 short Auto....!
I have most of the parts for a complete, functioning 22 short auto rifle that I want to sell for someone to complete the project.
I have the following parts:
Wood:
Buttstock, NIB. Old style attaches to the grip...as fits this action.
I do not have a forend (available from several sources)
Metal:
Barrel, New
Action, complete with all functional parts.
Feed tube and plunger (new)
I also have many small parts like springs, plungers, etc. Most of the parts I don't have are inexpensive and easily acquired from Midwest Gun Works (MGW).
I'm asking $375 for all parts that I have.
Would consider trade for Leupold VXvi 3x10 plus cash on my end.
