I want it to be around 4k

Probably isreali parts kit and chrome isreali barrel for that price. Need to research who makes the side plates.
308 I heard really matters the overall length case to feed right

Cloth belts you can push the round in but that's gonna take some time and all need to be even

There are .308 links(Israeli) and 30-06.
They are different, not by much, but.....
I think the build problems are mostly from not using some of the peices(cartridge stop)
Bought a TNW years ago,
They left out a few parts, owner told me they were not required(John Moses Browning must not be that smart right)

Worked great once they were installed, and head space is set.
Cloth belts are a pain to load. The belt loading machines are quite a contraption.
I have seen new designs being sold, but have not used one.

1917 Colt clone-ish(colts are simular to a 1917, not as reinforced like the 1917A1 or 1919, comes with tripod, tons of stuff...
