$5000 for an upper? That's not for me. Makes no sense to me at all personally.

For $5000 I could get all of the following:

458 complete upper

Colt SAA clone

Lever gun

Mp5 clone

Target .22 pistol

Range .22 pistol

22 Suppressor (stamped)

Complete AR10

Complete Ar15

Except that most of the bans are written to cover belts and any other feed mechanisms. For a while there, even owning a few too many loose links could get you into trouble in Ca.
