Colt LE 6920 M4 upper + Surefire SFMB-556-1/2-28 = nice groups from 0-100 yards. Not so good for CQB with no ear pro but loud noises, right?

Side note. Polymer FMK AR lower build, 2000 plus rounds later, go-to SHTF M4. For any doubters of polymer AR lowers.

If the AR is gassed and buffered correctly, it doesn't need a brake.

Run a mid-length gas system with an A5 H3 buffer system, it'll recoil flat and very easy.

Because of the concussion, which can lead to hearing damage to others on the range, I do not allow brakes.

Most my uppers have a bird cage flash hiders but I have 2 Yankee Hill Machine Phantom Flash Hiders. Effective and looks cool.
Designed to work as a muzzle compensator while maintaining excellent flash hiding capabilities. 5 port design has no downward facing port
which helps eliminate dust problems when shooting in the prone position. 1/2-28 threads. Includes crush washer.
$23.30 at Midway.
