Hi all, I got this stuff in a box at an estate sale..the newer kit looks to be a raw kit, does anyone know what the old lock is? IMG_2694.jpeg IMG_2695.jpeg IMG_2696.jpeg IMG_2689.jpeg IMG_2691.jpeg

Nice locks and parts.
The assembled lock is a English pattern "Bar lock" it is a percussion lock from the 1840's - 1870's....
No maker's name or marks...so that can make it difficult to say much more.

The un-assembled lock...looks good...it is not the same model Siler lock in the instructions...

Looks like you also have some sights...a trigger and a breech plug.

Thanks Andy, too bad I can't use any of it. Not into soot burners.maybe I will put in classified section if I can figure out what it is worth
