200# is bigger than me, and I'm hoping to get my first deer, so I was wondering what you did. I'm thinking I'll probably have to quarter him out if I get one.

I have a roll up plastic sled, and once gutted I pull a sack over it to keep clean and then drag it on the sled. It's pretty easy to move that way. DR

For me, 5-8 miles is a bit far for a drag. Hell, even 2-3 miles is asking a bit too much. Maybe downhill all the way in the snow for a mile or 2. Cougars need to eat anyways. My camp this month is at 3700', and I climbed to 5500'+ last weekend. I am fine quartering it out. Lol. But the views, ay carumba. @solv3nt , I wish you were here buddy.

You might be right. We call it a "revert". Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled with this buck. But the idea of him being an equal 4x4 makes me weak in the knees!
