Best/cheapest ffl around albany

Hey yall, im looking at meeting someone halfway for a trade and need to find a reasonable ffl. Albany is the halfway point but im not familiar with the area and only seeing places with $50 transfers.

Tick licker in corvallis can do it for $45 but im curious if theres anything else around there. Im used to my local kitchen table ffl for $25

I really wish there were a shop locally like Albany that offered $25 transfers but I think gun sales have sloughed off enough to cause an increase. Dealers have to offset their overhead somehow. I use Santiam Buyers in Stayton. Colt, the owner, has always treated me right and is a family business. He's not always the cheapest but being the going rate for transfers gets my business.

I always find it strange that people nit pick about $20+/- in fees when they've already spent $500-1000 on the gun instead of just asking for who the locally owned mom and pop in their neighborhood is.

As for not going to a mom and pop? I did that last week. Ive made purchases there but never a transfer so figured it would also be cheap. It was $55. I dunno about you, but that extra $30 could have gotten me another 3 boxes of ammo. I like my $25 table top guy, im looking for yalls $25 table top guy, not your 2 cents.
