I am looking to sell my used Beretta NEOS 22LR pistol. It comes with 3 magazines and has the upgraded grip frame with gray rubber inserts (as seen in the pictures). Also has a Red and Yellow front sight insert and an extra "upper" barrel assembly that is 6" in length. The 4" barrel is a lot handier, but I have always shot better with the 6" one.
As you can see, a couple slots on the integral weaver rail on the 6" barrel assembly had some additional material removed so i could mount a cheap TruGlo optic. In no way does it affect the function of the pistol. Roll pins on the upper part of the barrel assembly also like to drift after a couple hundred rounds, so the pinholes were peened on each end. I probably put close to 2000 rounds through the NEOS and it has proven to be a very unpicky firearm, even with cheaper bulk ammo.Recently I was getting some issues with light primer strikes and figured the firing pin spring was getting fatigued; I took it out and stretched it a bit and that seems to have fixed the problem for now.
*01/25/2021 Update: I ordered a new trigger-bar, trigger-bar spring, and firing pin spring. I installed them this past weekend. Took the pistol out yesterday and it functioned perfectly! This pistol is back in top-form!*
I will also include 500 rounds of ammo.
Looking for $450 cash, but am open to offers. Will travel (within reason) to an FFL of your choosing. I will cover transfer and background check fees if you are just buying. If trading we can negotiate this aspect of the transaction.
Things I would consider trading (or partially trading) for:
A good condition Mosin Nagant (especially partial to the Finnish M 28/30 or the M44)
A high quality 16" AR 15 barrel chambered in 5.56. Mid-length gas system only, preferably 4150CMV steel with chrome-lined bore, 1-8 or 1-7" twist. The heaviest contour I will consider is an M4-profile barrel; no Medium, A2, or HBAR! Would still probably expect 100-200$ cash on your end to square up the values.
A new or excellent condition BCM Gunfighter Mod 0 Compensator (5.56) + 300 cash.
Some combination of these primers: Large Pistol (or Large Pistol Magnum), Large Rifle, Small Rifle, Small Pistol, Small Pistol Magnum. + cash. I will be a lot pickier with this trade as I will not part with the NEOS for just primers (that would be very short-sighted). I will value primers at 125$/1K, and will take no more than 2K (or 250$ in primers) toward the pistol and would still ask for 150$ cash on top of that.
There are other things I may be interested in so feel free to shoot me any offers, the worst I can say is no!
