I ended up with one of these as a trade sweetener and know nothing about them. Anyone have one?
The full size and compact PX4s are excellent pistols with a rotating barrel system that increases accuracy and reduces recoil. The subcompact PX4 lacks the rotating barrel system and instead uses a conventional lockup. It's a good gun, but it lacks the advantages that make the larger models so desireable. Lots of better subcompacts out there in terms of size, width, weight, capacity, recoil, etc. I wouldn't throw it away if you gave it to me, though.
Maybe Ill gift it to someone for Xmas
Seems like we just had this conversation earlier today.
Yep. You not only sold me a superb firearm, but you told me some stuff so I could make myself look smart. I never pass up an opportunity to steal smarts from people. I need all I can get.
Dang dude, you sells guns almost like I used to. I miss most of the ones I sold or traded. Is the PX you sold the one that you converted to a G type? Are you gonna pick up a 226 Legion to go with the new 229?
No, I did not sell my PX4. We were just talking about them.
I still have to do the decocker only conversion on my full size 9mm Storm.
Also, I wish someone made a Px4 holster for a full size with a light.
You are in luck:
My brother bought the full size storm. He's not a gun guy so I went to the range with him.
I've always been a huge Beretta fan and have always regretted selling my 92FS.
For some reason when I shot the storm I kept hitting the mag release and would detach it juat enough to cause a FTF.
Never did figure out why I was triggering that.
Liked the 92FS.
