In another thread about .380 pistols, I mentioned that I had a Beretta Model 85F. The Beretta 85F is a double action pistol. The safety acts as a decocker. It has a single stack magazine, but that makes the grip slimmer for concealed carry. The bore is chrome lined. It came from the factory with wood Beretta grips with the company emblem embedded in them. The previous owner decided that he liked the aftermarket black plastic Beretta grips, which I left on it. This one was made in Italy and imported for commercial sale as the Cheetah model, but it doesn't say that on it anywhere.

That is the nicest .380 pistol on the market, IMO.
Similar models are coming in as police trade-ins.

Yes, I've noticed those. The 85BB which has a rounded trigger guard. They are a little older, supposedly Italian police trade-ins.
A whole lot of sweet Italian police trade-ins have hit U.S. shores these past few years. I picked up a Model 81 and Model 76. The Model 76 looked unfired when I got it. I should have bought a case of the Model 81s when they were $230 apiece.

I have one in the similar condition. Love it. Been on the hunt for a 84F for a while now. Just to have a matching "hi cap"

And you 92F owners need to stay in your own lane. This is a 380 thread.
