Ok so I'm shotgun shopping. Trusty old (5 years) 870 is falling apart. I'm looking for a new gun. Don't mind spending money but not a semi-auto fan. So I'm very interested in the Supernova but it has some serious nasty foregrip rattle. I had heard that was primarily an issue with the nova but every supernova i've handled rattles also. I'm aware of the guns great function and usability which is why i'm serious about it. However i'm hoping someone knows a cure to this problem.

Hmmm, not saying they don't, but had to go check, no rattle on mine.
Very happy with it.

Did it come like that? I've handled 7-8 and every one of them rattles.

I bought a SuperNova in late September and have used it to hunt chukar, ducks and geese. I haven't had a problem with the rattle while hunting even though it makes a small noise when handled. No problem while carried, either in hand or on a sling.

maybe the newer ones do. Mine is better then 10yrs old Im thinking.

Might have to go look at some new ones.

I’ve had mine had mine for 3yr and it has rattled since I bought it .Love the gun you can use it as a tent stake, boat ore, or shot gun
