Sheriff Jim Wilson reported on Facebook that Bart Skelton passed away yesterday (4/25/23). Son of famous gun writer "Skeeter" Skelton was 62 years young when he died. You know you're getting old when your childhood hero's children are dying. R.I.P.

Damn does make me feel old. I remember enjoying reading his Dad for a long time till he passed and his son started writing. Now the Son moved on too.

Shooting Times magazine, I believe was the publication they wrote for.
All the old hunter/writers are gone. Skeeter, Peter Capstick, Bill Jordan.
Sure were some great experience within those stories.
