Very sad news. I saw him live three times. He was one of the best guitarists of all time, maybe even the very best.

That is truly sad. Man, all these folks that I grew up listening to, watching on TV/movies, etc, gone and going. I'm feeling pretty mortal...

Whoa! I must have truly been hibernating this winter. Just finding out about this. Every year, it seems like another nail is being placed in to the coffin of old time rock and roll.

I think we need art and or music to once again be a requirement in schools. After that changed (around the mid 80s I think) is when the MUSIC truly started to slowly swirl down the toilet around the mid 90s. What I grew up with as rock and roll seemed to suffer especially.
