ATF Distribution Center Suspending Operations for Relocation
image-of-an-open-newsletter_original.jpg
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' distribution center is responsible for the distribution of various ATF forms, information packets, brochures and other industry aids. The center fulfils requests either by email or through the telephone center at no cost to the requestor.

Closure
Effective Monday 24th, December, 2018, the ATF Distribution Center will initiate the process of moving to a new location. This move will require all functions and operations of the Center be suspended while equipment, staff and products are safely and securely moved to the new location.

What This Means for You
  • Email requests/orders will be received and held but no orders will be fulfilled until start of business Tuesday 8thJanuary, 2019.

  • Telephone requests/orders will be suspended until the telephone lines are reestablished.
All dates are estimates at this time due to weather and other unexpected events that delay progress. We will continue to provide updates as they arise.

We apologize for these necessary actions and look forward to continuing to provide you excellent service upon resumption of normal operations.

Their location was public information, new location is likely going to be secret classified information.

Consarn it, I have fingerprint cards ordered. Hopefully they shipped already.

And, IIRC, the last time there was a government shut down, the NFA Branch closed. I had at least one waiting then, so I vaguely recall that adding a little time to an already long wait.
