Hi Milsurp Junkies,
I'm needing T38 short rifle furniture and hardware or a long rifle stock that I can cut down for a sport job salvage. I in fact was the culprit in '68 before I knew better. The rifle in question was a capture acquired by my uncle when they came ashore on New Guniea. My uncle Al was an Alamo Scout; he my pops and other relatives were in the 1st Filipino Regiment. My auntie didn't want it in her house because it had killed Filipinos and had bad antang-antang (Filipino juju).
Fortunately, when I cut it, it was more or less the same length as a short rifle. It's the 3rd Arisaka in this batch. Of all my iron this one is special to me. Thanks for any help or leads, PAX
