I noticed Global Ordinance is selling AREX Delta handgun frames with no FFL required. It appears that the FFL part of the pistol is part of the frame guts, maybe like the Sig P320 line? I am still confused as to how one company's frame is considered the FFL part while another company is able to use part of the frame parts kits as the FFL part. Anybody here have a good understanding of how this works?

"Removable front and rear frame inserts incorporate slide guides and hold the complete fire control mechanism yet only the front insert is a serialized part that must remain with the firearm while everything else may be customized or exchanged if necessary or desired."

This X model seems like a good deal as it comes with optic ready slide and two extra 17rnd mags. The X model slide could be used on M model frames for a more compact package.
