idk they are the kind of fat hard plastic...are you talking about the squishy magpul kind that get all sticky and funky? I had that kind. I shot a 1000rds in a weekend suppressed and the grip was pretty gross and doesnt clean up.

Those are probably the ones, I've run a few thousand with mine on my main build without any issues like that, they just seem to fit my hand better.
