So being a lefty, I've never been an AR fan. With the direct impingement bolt blowback / the excessive gasses from the chamber, it just wasn't fun.
I recently found the left side charging (and ejecting) uppers....I bought two, made one full weapon and LOVED IT! Total blast to shoot.
I'm now finishing the second and am gonna offer it up...see if other lefties need a toy.
It features Bear Creek Arsenal upper and lower. The only piece I'm still awaiting is the left-ejecting Bolt Carrier Group. I expect it this coming week.
Other upgrades: shark muzzle brake, full floating M-LOK handgrip, M-LOK metal handstop, Votatu green picatinny laser, Dagger Defense bicolored red dot in FDE, ambidextrous safety, billet magazine release button in FDE, billet Cobra trigger guard in FDE, Magpul grip, 2 mags in FDE and an adjustable stock.
As to the stock - according to the National Firearms Act / the ATF, it is illegal to have a bracing device on a pistol (anything with less than an 18" barrel), as it then is classified as a Short Barreled Rifle and requires registration and a $200 tax stamp. The ATF is offering a waiver on the fee through the end of May. I've applied for this weapon, so in my ownership, it's an SBR.
If someone wants it, you can decide if you want to use a transfer (form 4) or apply yourself (form 1) or say screw it...lol
I'll remove the stock (simply, no tools) but include it in the sale.
I'm in West Linn and have a neighbor that's an FFL.
I'd entertain trades. I have 4 or 5 weapons for sale / trade right now - what I REALLY want is a Kimber Ultra Carry II....also like .223/5.56 ammo at LESS than $.40 per.
