I have enjoyed the SWFA 6x mil-quad on a variety of AR and bolt platforms. Near to far- there isn't a change in the drop or forgetting to turn the magnification down.

Depends upon your use. What do you want the rifle to do? I have one with a 10x and one with a 3x prism.

Best scopes for an AR-10?

It depends on your goals and what you define as best since that is a subjective term.. So really any scope.......

I am running a 1-6 LVPO on mine based on my intended use, however with a different set up and different intended use, a high power optic with a high end of 14-25x might be a better choice.
