AP5-SD $1249 at Atlantic

For those unfamiliar, this is not a ported barrel model. It is full size mp5 with mp5k (ie short) threaded/trilug barrel. It comes with a faux suppressor that you can replace with regular suppressor as long as diameter fits under handguard.

For me I much prefer this over ported barrel. The reasons are: 1) can use suppressors I already have (not special ported barrel specific suppressor), 2) supersonic rounds remain at full power not stripped of power to reduce supersonic to subsonic, 3) they don't cost $6000 like other mp5-sd clones.

Comes with 2 mags and optic claw mount. I kind of like the pictograms on the lower but I'm not a fan of the thin grip personally. Since this is a slightly different model than MKE has made since the 1970s I expect some possible minor QC issues such as magwell not perfectly 90degrees (I have heard of a couple cases of this). Too cheap to resist. I ordered one. Both my AP5 and Ap5P have been an absolute joy.

Fail to see the point of these.. just get a regular mp5 lol
Seeing these without ported barrels is unbelievably sad. That's the whole point of these. It's like buying one in .22, close enough right?

If you want a real sd this is the cheapest way by far. A ported barrel costs $199. As is it's the best small sized suppressed option imo. This gives you k size weapon with the lower recoil of the full size. It's a prefect combo. Plus for me I prefer to not have ported barrel and keep the velocity when shooting supers.
